guess some people wont like this posting but i gotta get it off my chest....
i also get sick of the genocide that is happening in gaza, the israelis are going way, way too far. even inside israel there are huge demonstrations against all this violence.. i'm disgusted seeing kids killed....
what also makes me sick is seeing types like sby raising their voices about all of this and how a lot of countries should come together to stop this....
why does this make me sick??? because for example it was reported in holland today that the indonesian government wants to make illegal the koteka, the penis shaft worn by the papoeas who are undergoing a genocide in their own country, who are being margenalised and discriminated against in their OWN COUNTRY. how sumatera has now lost 85% of it's forests and kalimantan 65% and they're working hard to do the same in papua. all the money that has been made out of this RAPING THE COUNTRY goes into the pockets of a very, very small minority here and in the pockets of a very small number of american, chinese and malaysian tycoons... i get sick in the stomach hearing and seeing somebody screaming about justice for the palestinians while that same person was in charge for 4 years during the megawati DICTATORSHIP of the martial law emposed on aceh, a period when incredible atrocities were commited on FELLOW MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS. a person who did 4 TOURS OF DUTY as a general in east timor, a place where the indonesian army slaughtered more than a quarter of a million people. a person who has done NOTHING for the countless victims in SIDOARJO. Under who's precidency the travesty that was the MUNIR CASE happened.... A tsunami came to aceh and there just wasn't anybody left to fight no more, and then he goes and tries to claim a noble price for bringing peace there... jails in indonesia are now OVERFLOWING and the promised funds to build more havent been given so those prisons are now even more overcrowded and getting worse every day... more than 60% of prisoners in indonesia are in jail because of drug cases...... "yeah, but at least they are now tackling corruption!!!" ARE THEY???? The fact is that most corruptors that have been caught have been given incredibly light sentences, often less than a year in cases that involved millions of dollars with each case, more of them walked out without any sentence AT ALL and here you are doing 5 to 10 years for a little bit of an innocent substance called weed or doing 4, 5 years for stealing a bike or a chicken....
Yes i too want a palestinian state, i too want freedom for my palestinian sisters and brothers, but i just gag when i see these types talking about it while in nusa tenggara there has been hunger for like 10 years now, flores being among the most hard hit because of draught.... and i've said this before, on this forum and others, RELIGION HAS NOTHING, NOTHING TO DO WITH IT, they didn't come up with the slogan UNITY THROUGH DIVERISTY for nothing when they set up this state and then proceeded to squash the dreams of the people so a few priveleged families could live in unthinkable, disgusting luxery...
